I was preparing to replace struts/strut mounts/spring seats (front tower had the "clunk" and struts were probably overdue), when I snagged a great deal on TME sport springs. I did the front end replacements without problems (turned out it was a bad spring seat, as suspected) ...then I looked at the task of replacing the rear springs. Looks like a bear of a job - couldn't even figure out where to start. I have a VADIS disk on order, but hoped someone with some experience on this could give me some guidance/tips. I'm not a novice at wrench turning and am fairly well set up tool-wise. Thanks in advance...

I'm not sure on your car but on mine it is simpler than the front. Just compress the spring, take it out, replace the shock mount and then the spring and be done with it.

Looked like my spring compressor (2 screw-styles) could not get in the limited space available. Did you use a clamshell style compressor? I'm not even sure that would get in there without some other part removals.
