Yeah, I kinda did the same. The 98 T5's feel much weaker at the bottom end than the 850's (was improved for 99-2000 models)...but are noticeably stronger at the top end. The nice things about these automatics is that you can kinda MAKE it shift...or predict when it's going to. Good luck with that in one of these new "adaptive" learning automatics on the market today...they pretty much do whatever they want.
