You still have a no crank issue, right ? Resolve that first...ignition switch, grounds, battery cable

Do you have a check engine light on?

If mpg is good and if the car runs ok,i guess that you have a little vacuum leak somewhere.

Or a big vacuum leak that isn't visible? I had similar symptoms on my '96 850. It had been running but stalling at intersections. One day, it started but died as I pulled away from the curb. After investigating the fuel pressure, etc., finally discovered the large corrugated air intake hose was blown out on the back side. The membrane that covers the wire winding is quite thin. Replacing that brought it back to normal.
