Two errors coming up:
1) ABS/Anti-skid service required
2) Brake assist service required
Description:
At first, my anti-skid light starts to flash when making a right hand turn. Shortly after, the two errors mentioned above come on and stay on until I turn the car off and restart.
Questions:
1) Is it safe to continue driving with these two lights on. It feels like ABS is actually still kicking in and the brakes aren't any harder to use than normal.
2) Reading through some of the forum's it seems that there are many causes for this type of error. However, since I am having an intermittent problem triggered by turning right - is there any recommendation what the most likely cause could be?
- Wiring issue (loose, corroded) to one of the ABS sensors
- ABS sensor itself
- Broken reluctor ring
- ABS module - cracked solder
- Steering Column sensor
Thanks
Nick
