95 850 T5R vibration at 55

95 850 T5R vibration at 55

I have tried to figure out this problem and cant. I have replaced the struts ( with used ) c.v. axles ( new both sides ) pass. side motor mount (new) and swapped to a different set of wheels and tires. (sheww). and im STILL getting a vibration about 55 or 60 so something in the front end has to be loose. Only does it at a higher speed... Ive tried prying on the lower control arms and they seem tight, ive checked the wheel bearings in the front and they seem good...any ideas ????

Tie rod ends, both inner and outer are about all that is left!!

abscate... I forgot to mention that I replaced those as well LOL. Im lost, gonna have to do more digging I guess..

How many miles on control arms and ball joints? Maybe they are worn and just not showing play. I think you have run out of other things by process of elimination!

I just replaced my sway bar links. They fell apart as I took them off. I think I would brace myself and pull those control arms if you have more than 30k on them

I have found that getting a good wheel balance is harder and harder to find. My V70 had a wheel shimmy on a set of brand new 17's and I took it to two shops before desperately going back to the place I bought the tires (BJ's) and pleading with them to replace the tires. The guy working the desk said he would look at the balance and really took his time and much to my surprise got the shimmy out of the car. The REAR tires were the source of the problems. My car's an AWD, but the propshaft is no longer installed.
