A buddy has a parts cleaner that he is going to let me use. He's never used it. It's just a simple sink with a filter and recycling hose. Does anyone know a fairly inexpensive solvent to use? I'm trying to clean the internals of a turbo unit (lots of oil gunk and carbon). AZ sells a gallon of solution for about 20.00. Looking for something a little cheaper if possible. If not, then something more effective.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Economical parts cleaning solution?

Go to home depot
ask for Simple Green Pro HD - its purple
Mix 25% pro hd to 75% water.
Insert turbo and come back in 4 hours. You will be pleased.
I call it turbo soup. You can do this in any basin. A parts washer is not needed.
