What type of gas(petrol) are you running in your redblock?

Regular - 87
Plus - 89
Premium - 93

^These are the ratings in my neck of the woods (Central Texas) what are they in yours?

For the last 9 months (before and after my head gasket repair on my 940) my car always had this annoying "jerk/backpressure" at hi rev going from gear to gear no matter which one. and it would not shift until I got off the gas.. it was awful. poor exceleration, cars honking at me. it was terrible. I never could find out what it was until now....

In addition to changing the head gasket, I changed 98% of the parts in the engine and would STILL get that "jerk" at hi-rev...well, after all that buying parts and research, I decided to go from using 93octane Premium, down to 89octane Plus, and like magic....problem solve. not a single "jerk" ...the car pulls like it should now, I can finally merge with traffic...amazing.

Anybody use 93octane? or am I the only fool that was doing this?

For some stupid reason I thought 93octane was the norm for the redblock. I was wrong. Now I can enjoy this thing like I planned to.
