UPDATE: Btw your shop is very clean also for the amount of work you're doing! When I worked at Acura my Manager would asked me to get my tools dirty. That's almost twenty years ago and I've since let things go a quite a bit .

I use harbor freight nitrile gloves. They actually save time by keeping my hands clean. My garage is attached to the house so I keep it clean to help keep the house clean. A friend showed me that powdered laundry soap works great at lifting oil and grease off the floor. Wet the floor, dust over with the soap, broom around lightly with focus on oily spots. Let sit an hour and rinse. Works great!

Put in coolant and had a big leak at the heater hose connection; seems I brushed the hoses and that fragile fitting broke. Not to be stopped, spent a couple of hours with this workaround

Next up is the k24!

Good thread! I've been debating a swap. How much was the motor?

I got the motor, turbo and ecu for $330. Took 5 hours total to check it over, pull it, load it and bring it home!

Well it's running but not well! Ets and stc lights are on, tach drops out after 10 seconds of running and motor stumbles. Scanned and there are "no codes"! Any help is appreciated!

You have a loose ground wire to have those two coming on at the same time.
