Bought my 2000 C70 about a month ago. It has 105K miles. The steering wheel shakes on uneven or rougher road like the car is made from tin and flexing. It is smooth on smooth flat road. I have balanced the tires twice, replaced inner and outer tie rods, struts and bushings, and installed both new axles. It is a little better, but not like any other car I've owned before. Being told by the local garage that this is the "normal" C70 shake.....they all have it.
Anything to fix this? Strut brace? Possible rear suspension issues that manifest at the front?

Is this a convertible?
If so, they ALL shake and pretty badly.
Convertibles by design are not as tight a structure as a sedan. Manufacturers usually add cross braces and supports to help this, but the general design of the Gen 1 C70 plus the way it needs to collapse properly in case of an accident leaves the owner with a car that's not a very solid convertible, in fact it's about one of the worst made in terms of being solid!
If a car was/is designed from the beginning to be a convt, (read Corvette), you really cannot tell the difference between the convt. and the coupe in terms of solidity.
If it's a coupe start with the usual stuff, bent wheels, alignment, tires, etc

Did you check your control arm bushings? We added a strut brace to BIL's convert and it helped to reduce the flexing, but the brace did not make the flexing go away. how do you like the turning radius and rear view?

You need to get what is in the above provided link. Expect freight to be $150 as the box is rather large. However, it will transform the car. Well worth the expense for this otherwise beautiful car.
The brace you would be purchasing is the REAR one in the picture, I.E., the one not well illuminated.
