1991 24- auto trans..210k miles.
This thing is driving me nuts. It won't run when warmed up. Starts up and runs fine then when it gets warm, it hesitates, sounds fuel starved,sputters, etc. I replaced the main fuel pump with a new one and the filter too. I though relay for the pump and even bypassed that with a connection directly to a 12 volt source to the pump and it still does it. After about 20 miles, kaput! It will start right up though, just won't go.

Any suggestions where to start?

I'll guess I'm due.....This car has never missed a beat in over 200 thousand miles!

Your car should have a self diagnostic box from which you can read fault codes.

Go to page 2 of that thread and there is a full 'how-to' for fuel injection system and ignition. See what that turns up.

Please be patient as it is now a large file and takes some time to load.
