97' 960 wagon oil cooler

I had a repair shop check out a 97' 960 with a B6304S engine that I am possibly buying, and they said it had an oil leak at the oil cooler.I looked up info on some online parts places,but no one had any info on an oil cooler! Is there an "O" ring or gasket that can be replaced? "Consumer Reports" lists the 96-97 Volvo 960 as a used car to avoid. Is there anything inherently wrong with these vehicles? Would I be better off looking for a used 850? Thanks!
