1993 940 window will not go up
The window on my 940 quit going up. I have a spare car now for parts. I changed the regulator out The window will still not go up. It worked fine in the parts car. I also changed the switch,no differnce. I made a jumper wire and pluged the motor in backward. The window will go up now,but not down. Can someone get me an answer

Did you change out the motor too? Will the regulator rise without the glass in the door? Have you verified with a test lamp that your switch is fully operational? Is the window perhaps getting jammed in the felt track, or under the window scraper?

What those switches do is reverse voltage to make it go up/down.SteveD wrote:Sorry right front
Will it work at driver's side?
Can you read a schematic? Ignition key must be in run position.
Ethan the answer to your questions,is. Yes I changed the repalator and motor from working parts car.The glass is not hooked up yet, so no weight on the motor. I did reversed the wire hook up on the motor, the process changed direction

Notice how master switch (driver) flows current to passenger side.
