Re: 99 S70r motor stuck!
Is it the stc or SRS light?

Stc and the ets lit. I have an srs lit as well but that's been on for a while. The tach jumps to 1500 on start up but then goes to zero after 10 seconds. I cleaned the ground wire very well and tested the voltage through it and it appears to be good. I'm thinking of inspecting my etm wire for possible problems. I put new loom covers on those wires that had crumbling going on; maybe I did something during that install. What sensor(s) drives the tach signal on a 99? Thanks!

Outstanding! What a sweet ride. That engine is CLEAN. Great work, b2.

Thanks Matt! Yeah it was a diamond in the rough with only 126k. The body was clean (no damage) but the tranny had burnt fluid. That was why it was in the yard. I like a clean engine bay so I put some work on it before dropping it in. Sure nice to drive it again!
