1996 960 wagon passenger seat stopped working

I had to repair the wire harness to the passengers seat, after I finished( solder and heat shrink) I plugged it back into the seat harness, replaced the battery cable and when I went to use the seat control there was a loud snap, I THINK, from next to the drivers side and the seat does not move.
Already checked the fuses, grounds...... Drivers seat still works just fine after repairing the gear drive cable.
Any Ideas would make my wife and my 6'3" boy very happy.

There are geared cables that transfer power from the motor to the rail?. They can become detached from their connection..
