There did not seem to be a leak in neither hoses. I looked in the back again for some leakage and there was none. What a mistery this car is... :S

Check the Idle air control valve? Maybe It is just that.
Why did you use a 3.5/4 bar FPR? The original ones are 3bar. If it supplies a higher pressure maybe that is causing some problems (leaking Injectors for example?).

Danke, hausmeister, for the info. It was the only one with matching aperture to the needed, and as you suggested, I will replace it as soon as money allows (I'm a student!! lol:().
I have one final question, though: is it correct that, even after all I replaced, I'm getting 12mpg-5km/l in city driving? That's been the main reason I've been resigning of driving it everyday, as it deserves...

You have a point, as it is really possible that it is interfering with my injectors. I know the fuel pump can provide some 5 bar before reaching its full capacity. Thanks, hausmeister.
Maybe you or some other conaisseur can help with the abhorrent mpg my car is producing?

Is it running well otherwise? Do you get full performance/boost?
Engine Temperature is ok (thermostat)?

Sorry it took me so long, hausmeister. I replaced the 4 bar with a new 3 bar.
Sometimes, when flooring it, it seems a bit tired. Most of the time there is plenty of power. The only concern has been the random coughing while idling and the tiny dip, as soon as I've stopped.
It has, for a month now, been consistently pulling at 20l/100km. There MUST BE something wrong, though I cannot figure out what!
