2001 S60 T5 Strut and Shock replacements?
Anybody replace their struts & shocks yet? My wife's 2001 T5 has 85K on it and I was thinking it is about time to replace them. I will also replace the front upper spring seats as well as the rear shock upper body mounts. IPD offers some Bilstein, Konis and Boge. Anybody have a recommendation? The car has the Stock Suspension running 16' rubber with IPD Heavy Duty Sway Bar Endlinks and the HD Polyurethane Engine mounts (main & sides) Also, anybody have to replace any front suspesion bushings? Yes, you are on the right track, replacing the rubber bushings. This is a must on our cars, so don't just replace the struts/shocks. You might check with www.shox.com for decent prices. Koni's (yellow or adjustable) seem to be most popular right now with other Volvo owners.
