I had a great experience purchasing used (pre-owned) parts from Swedish Imports- Volvo Salvage http://volvosalvage.com. Mike Hackler was a pleasure to work with and even adjusted the price to match my budget. I needed a black fender for my 850...he found one, excellent condition, packed it well and included a side lamp assembly. Communications were quick and responsive.
I know, it's used parts, what's so difficult...well, when you are spending the money to buy a used part- sight unseen, you have to trust the seller to be honest about condition and packing procedure. Mike hit the mark on all accounts. Please give him a shout for your Volvo part needs. Plus...he's an MVS advertiser (right on the top of the page) A.
I can recommend a salvage supplier

Alan, thanks for your post. I work with Mike on and off and I agree he's excellent at communicating. He's very invested in his business -- working with Volvo owners to get us used parts at great prices.
