2000 v70xc Motor swap - B5234T3 for a B5244T

Post by pbob42 »

Guys - have some pretty deep scouring on my #2 cylinder and a head trashed by my machine shop. I can get a B5244T (original for my car) long block for $1200 locally or run up to LA and get a B5234t3 long block for $600.

What problems will I run into if I go with the B5234t3?

thx

well it looks like that B5234T3 is high pressure turbo and mine is low pressure. Is there any long blocks I can put in there?

I think if you match ECU to engine (either swap or burn) then you can do a LPT to HPT swap but this way over my knowledge/expertise fach.
