On a long road trip the engine has no passing power and makes a whining sound when the pedal is floored. Pulled over, opened the hood and no whining in gear with the idle raised. As I pull out the whining starts and stops when I ease off the gas. This is now a constant thing when I give it gas.
I have a feeling it is a turbo issue.
What can I do to figure this out. As always all advice is very much appreciated .
