96 855 na SAS pump, remove or leave?

96 855 na SAS pump, remove or leave?

To remove my radiator, I unbolted the sas pump, so it's just dangling at this point. After the cooling system update, the exhaust manifold replacement will be next. This would be the time to delete that system if I'm going to do it.
Suggestions?

I pulled mine out.

When in doubt, pull it out.

I always get rid of it as soon as it is convenient to do so.

I am thinking about getting rid of it too. Extra weight for nothing b/c I already did the diode SAS delete.

Oh, if you already have the diode, then the pump comes out for sure. The same day usually!

I meant, I do the whole process as soon as convenient, install the diode plus remove all of the hardware.

So, on the 850 na with SAS, the diode goes between a32 and a37? I haven't opened up the module yet, are pin numbers indicated on the board or do I just need to count them to know which to solder?

Yes, A32 and A37. There are numbers on the pins outside but they are really hard for me to see. I don't know if they are on the board too. The VS writeup is very clear on this job.
