Hi Everyone
fuel gauge is reading incorrectly and drifting down then back up ??question where is the sending unit located on this car and how do I go about fixing it

Try a bottle or two of Techron in the next 2 tanks of fuel to see if you can free up that sticky sender.
The sender is in the fuel tank, which requires dropping the tank out of the rear, or cutting a hole in the floorboard of your car to access...
There are also 2 sides to the tank on an AWD, each with a fuel sender unit. They are "added" together in series, so if one is not reading due to a sticky sender and/or wiring problem, the gauge will read off.
