2001 S60 T5 Exhaust size

Hey guys just looking for the proper exhaust size from right after the Cat. Wanting to get a electric cutout for it. Also any issues on back pressure? Loss or gain in performance? I keep getting mixed information its either 2.25 or 2.5. Just need to know which one. Thanks! :D

2.5 should be good for about 300hp, however you should be close to what's prior to the cat to not disturb the flow.
