2001 S60 T5 Exhaust size

Hey guys just looking for the proper exhaust size from right after the Cat. Wanting to get a electric cutout for it. Also any issues on back pressure? Loss or gain in performance? I keep getting mixed information its either 2.25 or 2.5. Just need to know which one. Thanks!

2.5 should be good for about 300hp, however you should be close to what's prior to the cat to not disturb the flow.
