Relatively new here, why is it when I hit "Mark Forums Read" it doesn't do anything?

I check your site regularly and enjoy reading "new" posts but I find ALL posts are shown??

I also notice that my "last visit" is always the day before even when I have been on the site that day? Are your server settings only updated once a day?

Not complaining, just trying to figure out how I can read new posts without having to weed through stuff I have already read, thanks.

Anybody???

Just wondering why nothing happens when I click on "Mark Forums as Read" ? Any other site I am on when I do that only new posts show next time I log on..?? Not the end of the world by any means but doesn't make the site that enjoyable to navigate.....thanks for any insight.
