2001 S40...sunroof leaks into car. All drains are clear. With the inside shade removed, I can see the water drip around the seal into the rear section of the sunroof. It then overflows the pan that directs the water to the drains. Seems like the sunroof gasket is too small, not making a secure/ watertight seal. Where the seal 'loop' meets at the center at the rear, there is a 1/16" space that water just 'pours' in.
Can this seal be replaced?
Sunroof seal?

@AlanS...I have a sunroof leak issue as well with my 2004/05 Volvo S40T5. When I googled the problem, it appears that there have been several complaints about this sunroof leak. Even a class action lawsuit have been filed, but only covers a few states. See article here: http://www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit- ... on-lawsuit. While I am not sure where this lawsuit stands, I would hope that Volvo would issue a recall for all vehicle models that have had this issue no matter how long the person has owned the car. If anyone out there in Cyberspace can help, please advise. I love my Volvo, but I am not happy about this constant leak and wet carpet due to sunroof issue. I live in Ohio. I believe the lawsuite right now only covers owners in California, Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts and New Jersey. Does not seem right that they are the only states that may benefit from this when Volvo's are sold nationwide.
