1999 xc v70 Why is my Electrical so inconsistent

I am having issues with the electrical on the car. One of the windows works and then doesn't work; sometimes the cruise works and then other times it won't, from one start-up to the next; I will get the ABS light and the skidding (?) light on and then the next time it will be off; locking mechanism works once on a door and then the next time it won't.

I put in a new master driver side window switch; a good one.

What am I missing. I am very frustrated.

The 1999 model uses electronic throttle body. Most errors in this will disable the cruise

Ground faults are common on these cars

Realistically you don't have it that bad, just three typical things to go out on one of these. Etm, window switch and the abs module.

There are a huge number of posts about all three of these issues, most
of the really good ones are in the excellent repair database here at MVS.
Do some searching and a lot of reading. You'll probably find what you need.
