Hello to my favorite community!
My Volvo has just started exhibiting an annoying behavior. The other day, while driving with the A/C on, a loud vibrating noise showed up. When I turn down the A/C the vibrating noise slows, and goes away completely when I turn the A/C off. I'm wondering if maybe a bearing is to blame.
Has anyone else had this issue? I am a DIY guy and can do all repairs myself.

You can oil the bearing and get some more life out of it but beware, it will probably start howling again in the dead of winter when you neeed heat. Or just bite the bullet and replace the motor.
