2008 XC90 Rear Tires wearing more on outter edge

Post by warcraftjunkie »

My tires were new last summer when I purchased this vehicle and have rotated them 2x since I've owned the car. I noticed at the start of the summer that the rear tires are wearing more on the outer edge of the tire than the inner or center. I've checked the pressure and they are spot on for proper inflation. Is there an alignment that can be performed on the rear, or is this an issue of balance? When driving freeway speeds I notice a lot of noise... well at least more than I expect.

Since picking up this vehicle last year and my 2008 S80 this summer I've been a stranger around here... I guess that's a good thing. I found myself wistfully watching an advertisement for a local salvage yard and remembering the many hours I spent looking for gems for my 99 V70XC. :)
If you can't laugh at yourself, someday you will be the only one not laughing.
