So my fiance has had this s40 for about a year now. We bought it with high milage 240,000, but for the most part it has been a good car to her with a couple minor problems here or there.
Check engine light comes on the other day and i get P0352 - Ignition coil "B" primary/Secondary circuit.
Car seems to drive fine, no power loss, however i know i need to fix the problem before she gets stranded and calls me at the most inconvenient time in the world (like the last 2 times).
Before i jump into this, i did a little research, and im i right in that what i found is that there are 2 coils in this car? which is coil "B"? each coil controlling 2 cylinders each? Is it also true that there are only 2 spark plug wires? While we're on topic, what about cylinder numbering? I think its Pass side is 1 and DS is 4. Correct?
Now to fix the problem...Any suggestions? what causes this code?
Thanks for the information.
