2002 S60 2.4T. turbo coolant lines clogged

Post by horseguytenn »

Need to remove the two turbo coolant lines for repairor replacement. They are clogged. HOW do you separate the coupling between the coolant lines and coolant pipes??? Banjo fitting is removed, the other end........looks like a compression fitting or a snap o ring of some sort......sure there is some trick or tool to disengage.........PLEASE ADVISE. :-)

Extremely rare to be clogged unless someone put something in the system. The firewall connector has two small yellow tabs you pinch before pulling the hose connector towards the front of the car. Some owners have implemented alternate fixes so you may wish to post a picture so we can advise if you do not have a factory setup at that connector.
