1998 S70 T5 PO123 code

Post by SpeedyPete »

Hi all! So I did the PCV repair and replaced the rear exhaust cam seal, put it all back together and presto I pull a PO123 code. The car doesn't shift until 5-6K rpm. If by chance I installed the exhaust cam sensor 180 degrees out would this cause this issue?

Once again I have solved my own issue and answered my own question! :P After diligently going over Justin/CN's PCV repair I noticed a step I didn't take. A few pic's in and you notice a beer sitting under the hood. AH HA! My blood alcohol level is to low! So 1 beer down and another in hand, PO123 = Throttle Position Sensor located on the Throttle Body, Oh looky their it's not pluged in. You see the beer was a very important step, easy to overlook, but necessary to slow you down. :D

This is what you call a "beer-reviewed" solution.
