I just joined last week. I have been extremely impressed with the wide range of topics and generous helpful advice from friends helping friends. I do not want to duplicate (waste) forum space by posting a question that has already been answered or addressed in the past.
Therefore, my question is: How do I search for specific topics in this forum? When I click the search button provided within this forum it brings up a list of external website choices. I don't want to leave the forum. I want to search titles within the forum. With pages and pages and 100's of discussions a search would be great. Is there a way to do this? Thanks and glad to be a part of the family!

The 'Search' button between 'FAQ' and 'Memberlist' should take you to the search page for the forum. The links at the top of the search page are at the top of every page. Scroll down a little to 'Search Query'.
When you are searching be inventive with your keywords if you don't get an instant hit on the subject of choice. They sometimes are obscure, depending on terminology.

Mike, Bill is absolutely correct that there are two ways to search.
However I must clear up a misconception: the Search MVS function at the top of every page does indeed limit the scope to this Web site only.
Search MVS

Take a look at the URLs of the returns; they're all matthewsvolvosite.com. Of course, from there you can from there search outside this site by checking the box "Search the Web". But I don't want to confuse.
Forum Search

The forum search's biggest drawback is that it doesn't list pages on this site that are outside the forum, like https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/tstat.php for instance.
Hope that helps.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
