This week I've been removing all the interior trim and I have the headliner foam dropped down. Now, I am baffled on how to get it out of the car so I can clean it up and install new fabric. It seems if I go through the trunk I'll tear it up. I removed the passenger side seat and still seems I have to bend it beyond repair to get it out. Any suggestions? All the write ups I see are done on wagons.
Thanks.....Eddie G

Really? I did this project last summer and I didn't find a single write up involving a wagon. All of my sources were on sedans.

Thanks Polska. I don't have a sunroof so my headliner is not as flexible, so I had to take out the passenger seat to get it out. I ended up going to Hancock Fabrics. They have headliner material with the foam attached. Fabric was $25 and I paid $20 for an industrial adhesive the associate recommended. I have to stay it looks DAMN good. The material bends to all the curves perfectly. Overall, I would say it took me about 4 hours from start to finish. Since I had to take a seat out I pulled the driver side while I was at it and shampooed the carpeting and power washed the seats. The cloth seats clean up very nicely. I typically do this every couple years anyway and it was about that time.

Glad you got it out. I had to remove the passenger seat since my power recline wasn't working at the time.
