95 & 97 850's 5 Spd MANUALS IN JUNK YARD

LKQ in Blaine, Minnesota has three 850's, getting kind of picked clean. Two of them have the full kit 5 speed manual trans. Colors for body panels are dark green ('95 855) and gray '97 sedan. The automatic is red. I didn't spend any time with it so I'm not sure what it has.

Neither of the 5 speed cars looks severely abused, though they've apparently been in the yard for a while and are getting weather worn. Both have a couple of good body panels. Hatch back on the 855 has all the mechanisms but has rust in a couple of noticeable places. Hood is gone. I think the right front fender and possibly p.s. front door are fairly clean. I didn't pay too much attention to the sedan's body panels.

855 has an MAF that looks pretty clean—it's still installed in the air box lid.

The pedal covers in both of the manuals look lightly worn. Miles on sedan's odometer are 154k, cluster is missing from the 855, but its pedal covers aren't badly worn, either. I was under the 855 today and noticed that it was generally pretty dry, though there was a little weeping from bottom of trans that actually looked recent. Struts had been pulled, axle hanging, so maybe that was from the axle seal.

LKQ's yard is just north of IS 610 on Highway 65 (west side). Note that northbound Highway 65 is under construction between IS 694 and IS 610. Southbound is open between LKQ and Minneapolis.

Yard has tall wooden wall along north and west sides. Along the north wall, rows are marked with large white numbers. The '95 855 is against the wall in row 66. The sedan is in the very last row, farthest from the office, near the north wall.

Any chance you noticed interior colors on any of these cars? I'm in need of the center console piece (the large cover that the shifter pokes through). The opening on the automatic version is apparently too big for the leather dust boot of the shifter to correctly clip into place at the base of the shifter.

OVLOV: the '95 has the tan dash (I'm pretty sure), doors and plastic are beige.

I think the '97 grey paint is a base, I believe it had a darker interior with cloth seats if I recall correctly. I'm thinking that console might have been damaged, but I was focused on other things so not really sure.

You might want to pm Erik. He might be heading to a JY in Minnesota this weekend that I haven't visited but I contacted this morning to locate a part he needs. They have several 850's.
