850 R - blue Head and Timing belt covers?

When I see an 850 that has a head cover plate and timing belt cover that is blue does this mean anything?

Just that someone painted it. The 04-07 S60R and V70R had the blue covers. I think they might also fit but not 100% sure.

The R's got blue covers as early as 99, for example here is a pic of a stock, 2000 V70R engine bay:

That style of cam cover was made when the fuel injectors changed. Blue covers of that style on an 850 would likely mean the engine was swapped with a later (RN) engine, but yeah it is possible someone just painted the covers or swapped covers only from a later engine.

That looks like a standard 850 cover painted blue, just like JD posted about originally. In a nice, clean engine bay.
