air bag cover repaired
Weather has been too cold to go looking for a good dash pad and I couldn't deal with my pass side air bag cover curling up anymore. I decided to use "Gorilla Glue" on the seam and put a heavy object on it overnight and it seems to be holding great. Im not sure how its gonna handle the summer, im planning on using a windshield sunshade to help keep the heat down in the car anyways. Here is a pic of the finished product...

I've had to do it on three dash pads already.
You do not have to remove the dash pad.
If you have access to a heat gun, or high wattage hair drier, heat up an area gradually an use a putty knife to mold the area back into shape.
No glue is needed. If it happens again after the next summer, do it again, but all three of mine have looked good.
I had to replace the original '93 black pad because someone had used Bondo and gorilla glue.
After an accident where the airbags were deployed, I had salvaged a beige unit, hence the three times.
I like the beige better anyway.
They are not perfect, but you can be very meticulous and be careful not to melt anything.
I see a duplicate photo, but it may work itself out after the edit.
Edit: I also took care of the outer edges around the gauges and vents by gluing them with Seal all, and clamps. That involves removing the dash pad. The air bag issue does not.
