1998 V70 GLT - Rear Alignment- bushing frozen?
So I just got back from the mechanic. He put the car on the lift and showed me what the problem is. The adjustment nuts were loosened, but the delta link bushings are frozen to the steel trailing arm. The trailing arm won't budge. We put a bar on it and nothing moved. He looked up the labor and it is 5 hours to drop both sides.
Anyone else ever run into this problem and have a less than $600 solution?

That's what I am going to do. If the car was a bit nicer with fewer miles and a better body I would look into having it fixed, but financially it doesn't make much sense.tryingbe wrote:I'd leave it, consider it is driving fine and not pulling.

Just replaced those end links on one car and will be doing the second in a week or so, the first car all 4 bolts were solid in the bushings, I snapped all 4 nuts and bolts leaving little stubs of bolt that I had to saw off. The second car requires new trailing arms due to busted shock mounts, the donor axle all 4 bolts undid without a hitch, some pixie put copper coat or something on the bolts in the past- cheap parts but a pain to change
