Not so great milage
My '95 855t averages about 19 to 20 mpg (acording to trip computer) on the highway (75 mph) and about 18 mpg in town. car seems to run perfect no cel lights throttle body just cleaned, well maintained, I do have 205 55 16's as opposed to 50's on the wheels. Any idea as to why my mpg is so low? When I check the mpg while driving at hwy speeds It seems to hover around 19.5 mpg. That doesnt seem right , is it?

Often does. Depends how old/poorly performing things like spark plugs are right now. Pull a plug and look at it, and that will tell you quite a bit.

Is there a favorite or best plug type or brand to use? When the valves crashed on mine and the head had to be replaced, the dealer used four prong plugs very similar to the 'Bosch platinum plus four'.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has a tale to tell regarding brand and type of plugs.
