Hi everyone
I have a 1998 S70, Base model, manual transmission, FWD, 148,000 miles. My car's rear is sitting mighty low. I've replaced the shocks and front struts. Not the rear springs.
Could this be the cause of my saggy rear end? Also, does anyone know how to tell the springs are done?
Thanks
S

Take a close look. If the springs are still sitting in their mounts and supports properly, the springs are gone.

Thanks that information is really helpful. When I looked at the springs this morning they looked fine, nothing appearing wrong. So, based on your help, I think I need to save up for some springs.
Thanks
Thanks

Too cheap, probably Chinese crap, unpainted Chinese steel
Don't buy for a price, buy for QUALITY (and price after that)
You can use more or less any rear shock though that you want to and can buy for a price

I went with the IPD HD springs as I tow boats.
The good karma they shipped with them made my delta link bushings fall out by themselves.

Lesfjorder (?) springs from IPD are $47 each plush shipping. HD springs are $140/pair.
Check your rear shocks. If they are dry, not too rusty and are not 'sweating' then you don't need to change them unless the mounts are rusted.
Neil.

Lesfjorder makes good springs. Buy those, if they are only $47 from IPD.
