schematic of 99 volvo pcv/Turbo
Hi Guys, Recently replaced the PCV system on my 99 S70 GLT. In the process many of the hoses under the hood were in bad shape and needed to be replaced and I made a mess of the hoses going to the turbo. I need a schematic or directions on how the air flow works. Where does the vacuum come from and where does it run too? is it under the turbo? Car is running OK, power seems a bit sluggish. When I nailed it today while pulling into traffic the Check Engine light came on and I got these two codes P1238 and P0234. Thanks for your time in responding.

Here are the hoses from the oil trap box (sometimes the top two can be switched up and will spew oil or put oil vapors in the wrong place).

Here, the top little hose goes to the side of the intake manifold; the fat hose is the one that says "connects to PTC" at the oil separator box.
The other one is a vacuum line that goes to the back of the intake manifold.

this is great thank you. I still need more information. I am pretty sure I did the hook up for the PCV system OK. Where I screwed up is on some other (three areas) Air/Vacuum hoses. There is one that comes from the center of the intake manifold with a stop valve and goes into a T. The T goes to an electrical module near the front of the car and towards the back near the turbo. I don't know where to plug it in. Also, there are three hoses that come off of a tree (electrical) that hangs off the air filter box and goes to the turbo PTV area, they are color coded. I don't know which goes where. And another larger hose that comes from the side of the intake manifold and goes back towards the turbo/PTV area... I know messed up. Car is running ok but I fear if I don't fix it soon I will create bigger problems.

Ah, those.
Red line - bottom of turbo.
Yellow line - turbo wastegate.
Blue line - turbo intake hose, kinda near MAF sensor. It goes to the port on the underside of the intake hose.
The one that I think you are describing with the one-way valves goes to the EVAP purge valve and runs back to connect next to the PTC in my picture (the one without the arrow above).

A bit difficult to follow, but you can trace what goes to where.
Side of intake manifold hose (if it's the one behind the power steering pump) connects to the other side of the PTC nipple.

Well I tried to hook everything up and ended up with lots of white smoke coming from the tailpipe that smells like fuel. I think this job is above my knowledge level. If there is anyone in the Birmingham area that could help me that would be great, otherwise I might have to bite the bullet and go to the dealer ;(

Here is the schematic from under my hood. 1999 Volvo S70 GLT
I need a picture of what the Pressure Regulator looks like. I can't seem to locate it on my car. According to this schematic, it should connect to the small nipple on the PTC.
