Hey my car has some problems..
So my problem is I start it up and it runs like normal but if I press the gas pedal it almost dies but normally it doesn't. I'm able to get it up to about 4000 before it starts going down but it is kinda hard getting it up there and if you put the pedal to the floor it almost dies out but if I'm careful and gentle I'm able to get it up to about 4000 rpm.
I have had the error code 1-2-1 "Mass air flow (MAF) sensor signal. Faulty signal to/from Air Mass Meter"
so I have tried with 2 different Mass air flow sensors both from working cars and the result is that when I then press the gas pedal the car dyes out so my original old one works best it seams...
After some disassembly I managed to get 2-2-3 "Idle air control (IAC) valve signal. Faulty or missing signal." so I'm thinking I may have adjusted it wrong after assembling it back on. How do I adjust it back to its proper position? It still runs like before with this thing in the wrong position.
I have had a lot of time trying to find the problem and i have just been ending up replacing a lot of parts: Fuel pumps, (in the tank and the one under the car) fuel filter and Injectors so the fuel is all good but I don't understand what can be wrong but it must be something with the air..
Also, my spark plugs are really black after a short time so it is definitely something with the air / fuel ratio.
Sorry about my spelling mistakes English is not my first language.

Im having similar things on my 240 b230. I cleaned the mass, and code dissapeared, now I'm thinking maybe 02 is shot, and it needs flame trap replacement and throttle body cleaned up, lastly FPR. Air box mod has been done already.
