2007 xc70 front disc part 31400739

2007 xc70 front disc part 31400739

According to my VIN, the correct 285mm front brake disc is 31400739, but the Volvo part number that is usually given as a reference is 31262706, which is valid up to VIN 229472. I am pretty sure when I replaced the front discs previously, I did not make any distinction about what part I was ordering other than the 285mm diameter. Anyone know the difference between the two parts?

Shouldn't be any difference

Thanks, A Volvo dealer confirmed the two parts are the same and only the number changed.
