1998 V70R - Dielectric grease on spark plugs?

I've done some searching on here and other forums and can't seem to come to a conclusion.

Do you gents recommend dielectric grease on the spark plugs? I'm swapping out the Denso's on my V70R and I don't see any from the previous owner. I've always used it on my other vehicles, but wanted to make sure there wasn't some weird Volvo reason to not use it.

Never used it in 40 years of Volvo ownership. The 5 cylinder engine has the rubber covers that seal out most of the moisture. So unless you plan to submarine your car, don't need it. Like many things though it is a personal choice.

I smear a dab on just to make the boots come off easier at the next plug change. The anti seize on the threads is important but the grease really isn't.

Oddly enough, no anti-seize from the previous owner either. Time to see if I have any in the garage and finish with my plug swap.

I don't use grease but always use anti-Seize on the threads.

I've used the dielectric grease since I removed a boot on an admittedly aged set of Bougicord wires (with perhaps 135k miles on them) and found corrosion on one of the leads. I figured it couldn't hurt and it could do some good. I always use anti-seize as well.
