Anyone have the experience in R&R a right front fender on a 1999-2000 S80. Looks easy but would like another opinion.
Thanks
Chris

My 2 cents worth..
I haven't done a fender replacement, but based on removal of the inner plastic guard, you'll need to drill out the rivets holding the inner guard in place (needs a sharp drill and a bit of care). Plus replacement rivets (7?) that cost $1.40 a pop from FCPEuro. Maybe regular aluminium rivets would do the trick?
I'd suggest it's easy from a technical perspective, but will take time with the disassembly that may be required.

I'm lucky to have a Volvo salvage yard within 75 miles and they have the same color fender and the Volvo rivets in stock. I was hunting on youtube for a DIY but no luck. I did come across Robert doing a R&R on a S70 fender I think it took him less than an hour. He get's kind of crazy on his DIY vids.....
Thanks for your response.

Just curious, did you do the replacement? I'm looking to replace the left front fender on my 2002 S80 and would appreciate any advice/lessons learned.
