1998 s40 1.8 Volvo blow cold air

Hi to all, If there is someone to help i'll be very happy.
In these cold days I have 2 very anoing problems.
First problem: no mather how I set controls my ventilation blow cold air. I checked hoses in motor and they are hot. My thermostat is work fine. There is opening and ventilator is working.
On instrument table, temperature needle, grow very fast, and alwas keep on midle of scale.

Second problem: When I press the button for my my rear and side window heater, they are not working is not working?

Is there any solutions?

Get a DiCE-VIDA setup and read the interior trouble codes. I'll bet it is a damper motor problem.

Getting TO the damper motors can be a problem, however.

Also check the small cabin temperature sensor http://www.volvo-forums.com/t41137-cabi ... -where.htm

The window defrost might have blown a fuse, you may have a look in the fuse panels.

Well, I do'nt know. This morning I left my car at mechanic.

I'll let you know the what was a problem....

Edit: The mechanic said that heater unit was stuffy, and that was only problem. Rigdh now temperature in volvo is just like temperature in avgust.

For rear and side windows he said problem is somewhere in instalation.
Regarding that, does somebode has picture or sheme for these instalation? Thank you very much.
