Years ago (1980s) Satch wrote for AutoWeek and his articles were top notch - I think the column was "Life in the fast lane" and it was my first stop with every new issue. I never did find out why he parted ways with the magazine / newspaper and I let my subscription lapse after a year or so after he left.
