1999 V70 Won't Start Cold fuel pump relay!! 9434225 Topic is solved

Is there an ability for the original poster to edit the title? If so, it would be great when a solution is found for the title to be updated with "Problem Solved" or some such. That might cut folks' research time when they are looking for a solution to the same problem.

That would be nice.
I'm looking, being the OP, but I don't seem to be able to go back and change the title.

I had a 95 from 99-05 that had the infamous fuel relay issue. It occurred to me through early internet searching to unplug the relay and bring it in the house. The car started up fine. I, of course, replaced the relay and they weren't cheap back then. Never have had the issue of the 2 850's I owned since then. I felt like I was charting new ground.
