This morning my 2002 XC70 fired up like it's 50 degrees. My Chevy Truck, with summer-weight oil, fired like nobody's business.
But my '99 V70 absolutely would NOT start without starting fluid. This is not something new. Since I've had it, it will NEVER start if the temperature is below zero. Never.
It runs perfectly other than that. No codes. Regularly gets 27-29 mpg on the road. New fuel filter about a year ago. Proper PSI on the fuel rail. I'm fastidious about maintenance, etc. It's actually a fantastic car that is in excellent condition.
But when it's below zero, it acts as though there is no fuel. It will NOT start.
Any ideas?
