1998 V70 fuel line replacement
1998 V70 fuel line replacement
I am having no success finding the correct fuel lines that run from engine to the saddle tanks on my V70 wagon. Has anyone with a wagon had to replace theirs yet? None of the online retailers for genuine Volvo parts can track this part down, let alone an aftermarket product.

I moved your post to the pre-2001 forum since you indicate that you have a 1998 model.
To your question, there is only one fuel line and it has multiple segments. What specific portion do you need a part number for? This will be a dealer only item unless you need to make a repair to a section of the line.

If you're handy with tools you could buy copper-nickel fuel line coil and rent out the flange set and a tube bender from AZ or similar. You'll also need metric fittings to match what's on the car. You end up paying less and a lifetime fuel or brake line. You'll need to remove original as undistorted as you can to copy the pattern and bends.

I replaced these by running high pressure fuel injection rubber hose (100 PSI) over a healthy part of the metal line (cut it back) and sealed it at both ends with 2 worm style hose clamps. Seems to be working fine. Keep in mind, the lines that go to the saddle tank are not high pressure hoses, so you could use regular 50psi fuel hose. The his pressure hose is the one that runs from the fuel pump to the front of the vehicle.
I haven't seen any problems.

I have a question!!
Has anyone found a reasonable replacement for the Quick Disconnectors at the fuel pump?
Or, even better, has anyone found an upgrade?
