96 850 Turbo

The radio in my 96 850 Turbo cuts in and out. The model of the radio is SC 811. Has this happened to anybody before? Is there an amp also? I will probably get another 811 to keep the car stock.

Does the sound cut in and out or do the radio stations do that?

Its a problem with the 850 stock radio. I'd recomend going after market, it will give you better sound quality and no cutting in and out.
